Stamp Masking with Simply Cards & Papercraft 190 Gift10th April 2019
We were so inspired by the gorgeous Card Making Magic stamp set included in Simply Cards & Papercraft 190 we just had to get to stamping straightaway! Also, we wanted to pair the stunning designs in the stamp set with a little stamp masking. The card we created had lots of masking, but also a bit of ink blending with Tim Holtz Distress Inks. The combination of masking and ink blending gave us a lovely card with lots of interest. We know you’ll be inspired to try this technique!
Stamp masking is a great way to add value to your stamp sets. It allows you to create layered stamping or stamped scenes as well as some fun inking and blending over your stamps while keeping them nice and clean. You can use sticky notes to create your masks, but we love these Stix 2 masking sheets. Each affordable A4 sized sheet goes a long way, plus once your masks are created you can save them with your stamp sets for future projects.
Watch the tutorial above for how to stamp mask with the delightful gift in Simply Cards & Papercraft 190.
