Funky Fossil Designs Star Aperture stencil

My Favorite Things Everything Happy stamps

Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch & Shaded Lilac Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink

Onyx Black VersaFine inkpad

ink-blending tool

masking paper

3D foam pads

Simply make

1 Place the geometric stencil over the card front and the star aperture stencil over the top of that. Blend shades of Distress Oxide Ink through the stencils.

2 Remove the geometric stencil and place the star back over the inked shape. Blend ink softly around the edges to give the star further definition.

3 Mask a strip across the bottom of the card front and ink through the stencil over the top. Blend ink along the edge of the strip for definition.

4 Stamp the sentiment on a separate strip of white cardstock and adhere to the card front using 3D foam pads.

Top tip

Stencilling through an aperture adds texture and dimension.  You don’t always need to use the whole stencil
